The Green Mind

Currently, global warming and globalization puts us in a rather precarious situation regarding the economy, food and energy. Motivated by the impending disaster and government inaction, some have decided to take their destiny into their own hands. They seek self-sufficiency and quality of life based on community values and rejecting the values based on consumption and personal gain. They implement measures both simple and complex, from the food supply to the strategic decisions about where to buy land, to meet their needs for food and energy. This one-hour documentary focuses on the history of four of these people, and illustrate their quest for a more environmentally sustainable and responsible lifestyle.
